Library: (Free) Utilize the public library system. Kids can have their own library cards and can check out their own books. Check out storytimes at each branch and many times in other languages.

Imaginon (Free) – Also part of the library system. This encompasses more than just a library, it is a special place for kids with all kinds of activities and Children’s Theatre. Make sure to visit Studio I when you are there.

Discovery Place: This is not free but it is one of the coolest science play places you could ever imagine. There are all kinds of activities and science experiments plus shows, displays and learning opportunities. The omnimax theatre is within Discovery Place showing movies in the most unusual and spectacular manner.

Nature Center: A center to learn all about nature and it amazing aspects. They have an amazing outdoor trail space out back. Check out the animals, puppet shows, Saturday activities, nature trails, sandbox and building gear out back. It really is awesome.

Freedom Park (and all the public parks)- walk around the lake or check out the playgrounds on either end – Princeton Park is enclosed – the other playground by the train is wide open.
